When did you start acting?

I started acting in 6th grade, when my best friend talked me into auditioning for the school musical with her. I’m pretty sure when she asked me I said “What’s a musical?” Haven’t looked back since!

When was the moment you knew you wanted to act professionally?

I was actually pretty unsure about acting professionally for a pretty long time. I knew it was the one thing I'd always be happy doing, but I'd heard so much about how hard it was that I was afraid. But eventually, I realized that my love for performing was much stronger than my fear of the difficulty.

What was your favorite theatrical experience?

My favorite theatrical experience was probably my senior year play, The Three Musketeers. That was the first time I had to really work for a role, going deep into the character and finding new things every day. Plus I learned how to fight with a dagger and a broadsword.

What is it like to live in NYC?

Living in NYC is amazing. Everywhere I go it's like there's a little bit of electricity running through everything. There are so many people, living so many lives, and the city is at the center of everyone chasing their dreams. And I get to be a part of that.

What music are you listening to right now?

"Return of the Mack" by Mark Morrison.

What is your favorite movie/actor?

My favorite movie--for right now, at least--is Zootopia. I knew it would be quirky and fun before I saw it, but it was a really powerful and touching movie. If you haven't seen it, go!

What is your favorite rehearsal/pre-show activity?

My favorite pre-show ritual is from my high school days. It's a call-and-response game called "Flee-Fly." It's kind of hard to explain, because the words are gibberish, but it's a blast!

What are you most looking forward to with What Happened at Fulton Square?

I'm most looking forward to collaborating with the rest of the cast, and creating a piece of art that we're all proud to be a part of. I can't wait to meet everyone!
